2 posts, one day!!

We're getting all sorts of culture. Val would be so proud that Jon and I went to yet another show, MAMMA MIA . That's two shows in two months, we're not yelling redneck anymore.....we's sophisticated folk now. My MIL couldn't use her tickets so asked us if we wanted to go. OF COURSE!! The seats were amazing, three rows from the stage. I sorta felt rich we were so close. I could actually see the sweat coming from the dancers. I wasn't sure what to expect since I didn't know much about the show. But it was so high energy and the singers were amazing. It really was a fun show to watch.

I am dumbfounded though that Jon didn't know who ABBA was. Now seriously I am NOT a music buff, but even I know who ABBA is. I kept turning to him during the show asking

"do you recognize this song"

"what about this song"

"seriously, you have to recognize this song"

I had to stop because I could tell he was getting annoyed with me.

Anyways great night, great fun!!

went back and read your post about your black shepherd. Thanks for telling me about it. I have had so many mixed feelings about getting Thor, but my heart is already beginning to melt over him.
I also thought that with having a solid black shepherd, he wouldn't look as dirty as having a solid white one, but EVERYTHING shows up on black, doesn't it??
He rubbed up against one of my plants outside and all his fur turned green from the pollen.

How did that man get to adulthood having heard nothing of ABBA? I'm impressed!

yeehaw! you didn't bring your bag of "bolled" peanuts and a yoohoo to the show? I iz impressed! :)

You goof! I'm glad you've discovered something new to enjoy, but you were just perfect before, too! When you come visit, we'll go hear Michael/Bob sing.. then you'll be addicted, and your little person will be singing show tunes like Kyra does. :)

love you-
The Cultured One :)

I liked the show! They worked the songs in well. Little too campy at spots, but pretty good overall!

O I loved Dancing Queen- did they play that song? I haven't seen the show, but I know all of the ABBA songs. Probably too well. I am glad you had a fun night!

My husband is such a 'redneck' he would never go. But, I would love it. Thanks for stopping my blog. I love to see new adopting parents and you are the first I have seen adopting from Taiwan. I look forward to following your journey!
