Finally at the Minimum

Can you believe that we are at 14 months? I can't believe that we are still waiting. But we made it to this point and we're on the down slide now(hey haven't I said that before?)

The good thing about 14 months is that we are now officially at the minimum wait time frame. NOT that I think we're much closer as I anticipate at least an 18 month wait. But!!! Before when we were waiting, any time that we would get close to the minimum, they would change it. Then we would creep up on the new minimum and it would change again. NOW we are caught up....it didn't get away from us this time!!

I've heard stories of families waiting 20 plus months. I just hope that that doesn't become us. So now that we are at the minimum I am asking a favor from all of you. Please say a prayer for us that we learn of our child very soon.

Saying a prayer for you EVERYDAY until you get that call! It really can be any day now and even if it is 4 months from now, you know you can make it. You made it this long! And 4 months is soooo much shorter than you have already waited :) Still hoping and praying the earlier side of course. Super excited for you, it really is close now.

I pray that you hear very soon, and that God gives you patience for the remainder of the journey- knowing that the perfect child is being made ready for your family!

Thinking of you today, Mother's Day. It's been a hard day for me, so I figure it's rough for you too.

Ann, I'm praying for you and thinking about you on this Mother's Day. I beleive that the Jewish people have a toast at Passoever time, "next year in Jerusalem". I think our toast should be, "next year at the FamTai reunion" See you & your Taiwan treasure there! Debbie

tapping toes

I, for one, am tired of waiting.

A boy, weighing in at 6lbs 4 oz, and born March 14th, will be referred to you in mid June. Your court process will be "average" and you'll be home in Sept.

There. My crystal ball doesn't usually suck as bad as the last time I did your prediction. I'm still amazed I missed April, I felt strongly about that.

C'mon, Kid. I need a new nephew!

P.S.

I heard that you should never pray to God for patience, because if you DO, He'll send you plenty of stuff to practice on, so you get GOOD at it!! :) You didn't ask Him for any patience, did you??

Love you, Annie. I'll keep you in my prayers. My "crystal ball" is a joke, my prayers aren't.

Ann, You okay? It's not like you to have nothing to say for over a week on your blog. Just thinking about you. --Sarah
