1st care package

So I'm thinking we may have sent just a little too much. Jon said he felt better knowing that we sent her some clothes. The care package included: a photo album with pictures of us and the grandparents, a giraffe that plays music, a crib toy that lights up when spun, the softest blanket eva, a homemade blanket, booties, and hat(b/c I know that she just needs a hat in the tropics), 4 sleepers with footies, the "Daddy says I'm beautiful" onsie, and two disposable cameras.
We're trying to hold off on some of the other outfits we bought her b/c we know that we may not get any of this back. We're hoping that she's home before she outgrows some of them. If it looks like she'll be too big before she's home, then we'll send them over.
It weird to know that in a little over a week, our precious baby girl will have something from us, finally!!

What a great feeling though...the things you have sent will be right there with her. The only feeling that will be better is when YOU are right there with her.

Yay for the first care package!
Hey just a thought or suggestion, When we sent Maya her first pkg. I bought two of the same pink bear, sent one to her and kept one at home. We then took the one we kept home to Taiwan when we traveled and I had it in my hands when I held her for the first time. She instantly grabbed for the bear because it was something familiar to her when everything else was so unfamiliar. I really think it helped her as she was handed off to people she only knew from pictures. The second thing she grabbed for was her daddy's big nose! So Cute! I love what you sent, Good Job mom!
Hugs,
Janalee

The first care package! What a great feeling huh? Now we're all praying for a quick quick court process so Miss Claire can COME HOME :) It's so fun shopping for little girl clothes and I can already tell she's not going to be hurting in the fashions department! LOL

Did they tell you it all had to fit in a one gallon zip lock bag? We did! It looks like your were able to send more than that.
