How's it going?

After getting permission from her Mommy, this is Susan and Ruby. Isn't she the cutest thing? She's a year older then Claire, so I was able to get a glimpse of what we have to look forward to..walking, talking, playing...so cute!
Take note of the hair bow....this was it's most favorable debut....and it's last. We have not idea what happened to it. But after people asked us several times if she was a girl or boy, we had to do the bow.
Don't let the smile fool you...
Do I look tired? I will say that I feel a bit inadequate. We are feeding her more then the orphanage did. We have introduced baby food and finger foods. But I swear it's not enough. She always seems hungry and she acts like we're not feeding her enough. Despite being a peds nurse I have no idea what I'm doing...But she's cute!!
Break out the picture frame...I L-O-V-E this picture!!

Oh my goodness Ann! She gets cuter each day that you have her. I LOVE the last picture of her and Jon, priceless! Maya went through a can't get enough food stage right when we got her, I think it was from them being on such a strict feeding schedule at the orphanage and going to getting fed when they want it that makes it this way- when you get home and on a better schedule it will all work out. You are such a cute mom!

What are you guys doing as far as touristy stuff? In a way I am jealous you have so much time there(while I know I would be going crazy and wanting to come home too!)I am itching to get back there and see the true Taiwan.

If you see Susan again tell her Ruby is absolutely adorable! How fun you got to meet her!

Loving your updates!

Ansley ate so much when she got home, I thought she had worms or something. She ate more than the boys. (Still does for that matter) I finally had to say, enough, after each meal or she would eat til she threw up.

It's OJT. You're doing great. They tell us our tummies are only as big as our fist. SHe has a teeny tiny tummy. She'll be fine.

It is good she is not a picky eater..

Oh, Ann! You crack me up. I love the comment "Despite being a peds nurser I have no idea what I'm doing... But she's cute!" I must admit, I have a big fear of getting our little girl and not having a clue what to do with her. I'm trying to get my mom to come to Taiwan with us to I don't stress out about it so much... but I think mom's not interested in going... but rocking a baby when we get home. I imagine myself knowing how to take her temperature, check for dehydration, insert glycerine suppositories... but not a clue how to give her a bath! Heehee.
